Zagreus, Dark God of Renewal Original 12 Inch Statue

Description

The Blood-Drinking Son of Hades and Persephone, or some say Zeus and Persephone, Zagreus is a powerful Underworld God associated with renewal through Death. He is the Prince of Hades Who promises the immortality of the soul. Associated with dark forms of witchcraft, the Mysteries, and strange rituals, He commands the ghosts of the Dead and Daemons of the Underworld. Although the Orphics saw Him as an older form of Dionysos, Zagreus is a separate God, once called “highest of all the (Underworld) Gods” alongside Gaia. He even has claim over the thunderbolt of Zeus, and nocturnal lightening is attributed to Him.

This sacred statue has garnet eyes, and an amulet of wormwood, henbane, asphodel, pomegranate, poplar, parsley, and aconite with garnet, obsidian, amethyst, fox bone, human blood, and goat bone, anointed in red wine and oils.

He stands 12 inches tall and includes a small removable glass bowl for libations that can be easily cleaned.
