Description

Krampus, the Christmas Devil, hails from the snowy Alpine folklore of mountainous Southern Germany. He may have pre-Christian origins as a Horned Goat God, such as Pan or Faunus Who share the feast day of December 5th, as the Faunalia, and in Krampus’s case, Krampusnacht.
Known for punishing the wicked, He carries a bundle of birch He uses to strike evildoers, kidnapping bad children He brings to Hell, and even the women and men He fancies to share His bed.
This imposing 14 inch statue depicts Krampus in His lustful, perhaps original form, Godhood aggressively presented. Surrounded by meticulously hand-sculpted holly, a plant associated with strength, protection, eternal life, and good fortune, two elves restrain the demon with chains, for if He were released, the full might of His wild powers would be unleashed!
The ever-watchful eye of Saint Nick himself, set with genuine moonstone, peers through the holly, spying on those who may be up to no good. Krampus is set with red tiger’s eye and adorned with real leather cuffs and embellishments.
