Hekate 22.5″ Statue Repair

Why am I so passionate about my art? Because it is in the service of my Gods!

Thank you all for supporting my work, and for being so excited for my crown jewel, the 22.5 inch Hekate statue! I am a very small business, and I not only sculpted and 3D scanned the original, but found a manufacturer, set up international shipping, and am taking care of distribution myself (with help from a few family members). I have never taken on a project of this scale, and I am proud of what I have accomplished. Despite all the stress, the very few problem customers, and immense effort, She has been such a blessing, and it is my honor to have Her grace your altars!

That said, because of Her large scale, some will inevitably arrive with MINIMAL damage. With the exception of 1 that I know of that looks like it went through Tartaros, it is only at the meeting point of the molds where the hand meets the wrist on one arm, and on the forearm on the other. Typically only one of these breaks, and by all means, this does not happen to every statue, just enough for me to address it! So here are some quick, easy repair instructions!

That is something I am talking to my manufacturer about. It seems due to Her size and area where the molds connect and the hand and arm, She is delicate during shipping. It is one of the reasons I lowered the price on Her from the original price of $400. The good news is it a quick easy fix!

Just ordinary super glue is all you need for a permanent, seamless bond. Practice lining the pieces up so you get a feel how they fit together. Then place super glue on the resin post as well as the socket and press the pieces together. Check the bottom of the torch to make sure it too sits in the socket. She will be perfect!

If you are in an area where the seasons are extreme and want to use Her outdoors, B7000 is what I used to fix mine on my outdoor altar. I use super glue on just the post, then B7000 on the socket and bottom of the torch. The super glue gives a strong, quick bond so you don’t have to hold the pieces together for long and the B7000 provides an outdoor safe, clear seal. Mine has been outside for months through below zero temperatures, ice storms, and extreme wind and snow. I still have Her available! I am not going to raise the price as I planned for all your support!
